Location: it’s near intersection of Le Thanh Ton and Hai Ba Trung or near by Park Hyatt hotel. There are 3 stories. The first floor is dedicated for their bar like any typical Japanese restaurant that shows their fresh sashimi along with a few other tables that are good for group of 2-4. Second floor they have 4 private rooms and around 14-18 tables.

Food: I am a sushi lover and have been to Hokkaido, Yen, Tei, Sushi World, sushi bar, Tokyo deli and some more. Akataiyo is my 2nd favorite sushi restaurant (1st Hokkaido sushi) in town. I’d give 9.5/10 for the food here. They have 2 types of salmon sashimi (belly one which is rich in taste while the fillet one is leaner). Seaweed salad is very fresh and good with their special sauce. Pancakes is delicious. Hotpot you have 2 options (Japanese beef or Usa beef). Japanese beef is double the price of USA beef. I guess it could be Wagyu beef. You may try passion soda without ice. It’s the best drink I have had cuz it gives you the taste of fresh fruit and also the sparkling of soda.

Ambience: Cozy and warm.

Staff: Nice, attentive, speak English well.

It is suitable for friend meet up, couple date, business dinner or family dinner.

Price is a little bit expensive but the food is very qualitative.

They have small parking in front of restaurant otherwise opposite side they have parking area in English center near Parkson.
