The chopping board was covered in black mould also, yuck!!
We ordered some pate and baguette. They were ok, but one piece of baguette seemed to be recycled. It was extremely dry, it made knocking sound if you hit the plate with it. On top of that it was stained, like egg yolk or chili sauce stain, dried in hard on the surface. So we asked to change that piece, as we had more pate left. Then the staff said they'd run out of bread so we can have rice. We just wanted one piece of clean fresh bread, but agreed to take rice as they said. We said we don't want to order a new dish or anything, because we're not that hungry anymore. But they kept on chanting the same words over so we gave in. Then they charged us for the rice. Now 10,000vnd for rice is nothing, but it was them who didn't live up to the standard and we're punished for it. May I ask, why?
We used to go to this coffee chain in HCMC, but didn't see any in Hanoi, so we're so happy to find this branch. But it was super crappy. The shop itself looked ok, but we seriously wonder their way of running the business. The chopping board was covered in black mould also, yuck!!
