Overpriced considering it's not exactly on Bạch Đằng. Music was the same 20 songs as everywhere else. When we ordered (at the counter, no table service) they asked us if we would like water with our drinks. Kinda surprising since normally coffee shops just give you iced tea for free. Ahhhh but it was an upsell, since you have to pay for the water.
No real glasses. Drinks come in cheap, disposable takeaway cups and were basically made of flavored sugar water.
Best part was the owner came over to inquire about our experience. You when we asked about the plastic cups he said "I use plastic cups to protect the environment." I asked "How does that work? Do you wash these glasses when we're done? I don't think so, you just bury them in the landfill." His response: "No I don't bury them, someone else does."
Also this: "With glass cups, you can't be sure if they are clean. Plastic is much cleaner."
It's called 1989 but there's really nothing 1989 about this place. In 1989 the waitress comes to your table, the (complimentary) tea is warm nước chè and the coffee is from a filter.
