I am not comparing it with a sit down restaurant
First off, it is not Korean Food, it is a vietnanese style of American fast food. It combines dishes from Mcdonalds, Burger king and KFC. Im only mentioning it is similar, not a copy. The Big Star burger is my “Big Mac” substitute. The regular hamburgers are reconisible ro me, but the flavored ones like bulgogi dont tast very good to me. The meat here seems to be more processed than a typical American burger. It is ironic that fast food items are more expensive in Vietnam than The USA. I find there french fries are okay, but nothing like american fries. The chicken is very tender and moist, very different from the tough meat served at many restaurants. I dont like they turn off there stove 1 hour before clossing so you cant order burgers after 8 PM . They have a very limited menu 1-2 hours before closing. I dont understand why they are even open past 7pm if they are not going to offer half of there menu. Overall it is a great version off a Vietnamese take on American fast food. I always laugh when I read the writting at all there locations talking about American gold miners stealing land and eating like pigs. Its obvious its a translation attempt from vietnemese into english. Every american that at least eats fast food sometimes, needs to try eating at a Lotteria for the cultural value. Some people may say why eat here because they can eat fast food at home, they are wrong! You can not have the same experience in the states. Don't try what is called spaghetti here unless you understand you are not getting spaghetti. Many children i teach love it, and incorrectly think it is actual spaghetti we eat in the west. This is my go to location as it is near my apartment. I wish more than anything I could order a Hamburger after 7:00pm here. The fish, shrimp, and chicken burgers need to be tried at least once. And the cheese sticks should fix your fried cheese urge.
Please note my rating is based on it being fast food. I am not comparing it with a sit down restaurant.
